The way people act and treat each other at shows makes me completely disgusted. To see grown “men” act like macho, junior high assholes is extremely depressing. I don’t understand what these “men” have in there head, or what they are trying to prove to one another.
I understand my opinions are worth very little, and I don’t know what situation you are talking about, but the context seems all too common. My view of the music scene in Houston is very low because for the time I started going to show until now all I have seen is negativity and it just seems to be getting worse.
Going back and forth from Mary Jane’s and Walters, from a GAMC show to a HUH show I heard comment after comment of negativity from the crowd and the bands. Shouldn’t we all respect one another? The reason we are at shows is to support the music that influences our lives. To everyone its different and that should be respected, not put down.
