Bad boys bad boys, whatcha gonna do?

Last night as I was on my way home from a meeting after work, I got caught in the middle of a high speed police chase! I had just turned onto rt. 202 when I saw 3 police cars turn on their flashers and start coming my way. It was a bit confusing, because there was an intersection and the light had just turned green, so the car in front of me stopped in the middle of the street that the cop was trying to go down. There are often cops on 202, so I figured they had got a call and didn't think much of it. I turned onto rt 33 and had gone a few miles when suddenly a Jeep Cherokee doing about 75 (in a 40mph zone) flew by me. As he passed me, I noticed that his car's front tires were gone, and he was driving on the rims! Sparks were flying. He kept going down 33, and then about 10 police cars went by after him, lights flashing. More and more and MORE cops kept coming down the road, and turning onto a side street off 33. When I got home, I waited for the 11 o'clock news, where they said some guy from Palmer had stolen the car, then led police on a chase. He ended up crashing right on the street that I usually take to go home, so I was lucky I went the other way this time. He also could have lost control of the car and crashed into me or any of the other cars on 33. Scary.
