I love furoku items! They're so cute, and some are really unique looking, too. I've been more limited with my spending on collectibles this past year or so (not necessarily a bad thing!), and a lot of what I've bought have been furoku items. I have, like, a year-and-a-half worth of stuff for a collection update that I've been planning to do over this winter break (I'm hoping to do it wihtin the next couple of days), and a lot of it is furoku items. The problem I've found is that very few US sellers have them, and, since most of the sellers who have them are Japanese, shipping costs can get very high, so even when something doesn't seem expensive, when you consider the shipping price it is. >_< I've backed out of buying a lot of furoku items I've seen for sale for that reason. I often get them on Yahoo Japan. They tend to be much cheaper there (although you still have to figure in deputy service fees and stuff like that to make sure they actually are cheaper), and sometimes you can buy a bunch of them together in lots. They also tend to have rarer items that don't pop up on ebay. Still, they do get expensive, and I often find myself unable to buy them for this reason. Just have to have patience, I guess.

None of those pictures is even mine, so you certainly don't have to ask my permission to use them. I don't remember where I found the image of the stationary set. Isn't it adorable, though? I've never seen it for sale, but I'd love to have one! :)

Definately! I really like them because you don't see a lot of merchandise with artwork from the manga! I've mostly been buying the bags when they pop up for good prices - I use them to carry the goodies I buy at conventions XD

I have the same problem >.< Recently started using Shopping Mall Japan, and very nearly bought a cute handkerchief...before I realised they were stickers and thought "nah, I'll just end up sticking them somewhere, and losing them >.> " The bags do pop up more often, but they can still be pretty pricey - have to ask myself "can I can justify spending $50 or something on a gift bag or a plastic tote?"

Thanks! I'll have to find the kanji for 'Nakayoshi furoku' so I can search Yahoo Japan add try to add more furoku items to my collection! ^-^
