This is being Criterion'd
For the synopsis Criterion says it's "one of the greatest thrillers ever committed to celluloid," and I couldn't disagree more. It damn near bored me to death. Perhaps I'm being biased, I didn't even bother to finish the film when it was on the TCM channel. Though I did see well over an hour's worth of it, it just didn't seem to interest me. Perhaps it was the fact there were some one-demenional characters, characters that were introduced then never heard of again, or the just because it never went anywhere and just meandered about. I can say it has a nice cover in it's defense, but I just think they should be spending their time giving their oh so special treatment to other films. I realize politics and other factors are involved but still; pick something better! Eh, that's all I have to say for now.
