I never thought a banned books event would give me an insight into my fandom. . .

However, a speaker read from William Burroughs's "Naked Lunch," and I have *ahem* arrived at the conclusion that Nightow based Legato Bluesummers on the Mugwump. Don't know what the Mugwump is? Grab your barf bags, and don't ever call me a prude again.

Teh ugh. My burning eyes. The reading left out some of this stuff. . . it seriously looks like a badfic. Read at your own risk and if you do, please provide me with some snark so we can both laugh over the experience, OK?

"His lips are thin and purple-blue like the lips of a penis, his eyes blank with insect calm. The Mugwump has no liver, maintaining himself exclusive on sweets."

(Though if you have no liver, you'd die. *snerk* Nevertheless, this describes Legato almost too well)

"'Stand up and turn around,' he orders in telepathic pictographs. He ties the boy's hands behind him with a red silk cord. 'Tonight we make it all the way.' "

No comment needed.

So basically, the Mugwump is a gay male sexual sadist who gets off on torturing and killing his victims. He's an allegory for executioners and killers everywhere, but for the purposes of this post. . . I'm 90% sure Nightow based Legato off of him.

Will someone PLEASE kill this plotbunny running around in my mind? For some reason, I'm wanting to write the squickiest, most offensive, purposefully vomit inducing Legato sexfic ever written now, including everything I've ever been mocked for, and the stuff I find sickening and repulsive too. Please kill it now, before I write Legato/Midvalley involving necro, cicadas, scat and everything else. . . *screams* GET OUT OF MY MIND!!!!!!!!!!1111

I think I drank too much of that punch. Never drink punch at English department functions ~_^

squickfic, legato, gay, trigun, naked lunch
