Since the fire, Mildmay has a new room now, and a new walking stick (he's very glad that he didn't have Jashuki here, that would have been gutting to lose like that), but his leg still pains him after falling on it as he did and he's still got a bad cough from the smoke. He always has been overly susceptible to anything affecting his lungs, but at least it's not as bad as the Winter Fever.
Still, though, he's stubborn and insists on hobbling back and forth in his room, attempting to work the knots out of his thigh. It's not working very well and it hurts too badly to keep it up for very long, but he's trying. Even though he should probably be resting it.
He's not expecting visitors but the door is cracked, friends might notice the distinctive sound of his footsteps with the cane, or the occasional coughing fit.
