Glorious
These past two nights have been absolutely splendid. I truly wish that all weekends could be like this, except with a few additions.
First off, the yotes won their first home game of the season. Absolutely amazing! Not that I don't expect the best out of them, it's just a sign of what might come. Secondly, I love hockey. I cannot explain how hot some of these players the last two nights have been. Just unfortunate they were on the ASU team. The captain, or assistant (he switched jerseys from C to A tonight, so I don't know) for the opposing team seemed like a great guy. He was always talking and laughing with our team, he rarely got in fights and always tried to stop both sides from fighting with each other, he seemed genuinely concerned when someone even the ref was injured. Basically he had a lot of class for a hockey player. I must say that was, well, I don't even know how to explain. Definitely someone I'd like to meet.
Anyway, I really miss my friends. I know they live right across the road basically, but we hardly see each other. Tonight was the first time we saw each other all together in I don't know how long. The dynamic is much different between us and my other friends. It feels much more comfortable, like home if that makes sense. I feel loved when I'm with them.
The sky was beautiful tonight. It always is after a good rain. The stars looked like glitter in the dark. Truly a great way to end these past two days.
