(no subject)
My quilt is coming along quite wonderfully. Granted it's my first one and some of the inner squares look pretty f'd up and I may have a hard time binding it, but otherwise it looks pretty cool. Unfortunately, I was a little unsafe with my cutter and I left it on the board without the cover on it. I just barely touched it and it cut my finger relatively deep. I'm surprised at how much it hurts; it's like a bad paper cut on steroids. What's sad is that it happened a second time just not as bad. Yes, I know, I'm a brilliant one.
I start my first job on Wednesday at 9. I'm glad that she doesn't seem like an early morning person. I will go in at 8 if I need to but 9 is so much better. Why an hour makes a difference I really don't know. Anyway, I think it'll take a little bit till I get to start my actual job. Apparently I need to do some training to understand NAU's payroll information. Judy showed it to me when I went in to interview and, quite honestly, it freaked me out. I never thought, though, that I'd be excited to go to work.
