As can be said for most of my premieres this year, "Party in the Midlands" was absolutely not the vid I had planned to make for that vidshow. Then I started hearing the song everywhere I went and it became the earworm that would not die, until one fateful night where kuwdora  convinced me to vid it. Then I found a rap remix I adored and that just fit so perfectly for Richard that I had to do it. This vid is really an ode to the crackiness and incredible sense of fun of the Legend of the Seeker fandom - especially deej .Her Gay for Kahlan parties and cracky recaps are an experience and hopefully, that vid has the same vibe.

This vid was quite challenging technically and allowed me to work with Photoshop some more - which is always fun (in the "Bashing you head against the wall is fun!" way).  Kahlan walks out of her frame thanks to After Effects masking and a lot of blood and tears.
