This is my first *really* multi vid, and it was FUN. This was the last CVV vid I decided to take on, when I already had a pretty full plate, when jarrowput up songs that he had mixed in the past. I asked him if I could use it and he replied very calmly (lol) that, of course I could. At that point, I still had no idea what I was gonna do with this vid.
Pretty fast, however, it was obvious that this would not be lyric driven and I decided to focus on motion. Battlestar Galactica was the first fandom I considered for this, but being unable to catch up on the show itself before editing the vid, that soon proved impossible. And then, looking at my wide dvd collection, I decided that it would just have the be a multi source vid.
The vid itself came together pretty easily, because the idea was to keep it in sections that would seamlessly transfer from one to the next (the chairs causing visions, the visions leading onto the cars as a car passes by Phoebe when she collapses, the cars transition into bikes when bikes pass a car, etc). I'm lucky to have such a photographic memory, because I'm sure sourcing would have been more of a challenge.
