Eustace enters from outside, shaking snow off his hair, cheerful and red-cheeked. He heads for the Bar for tea, and then for the fire.

Jill is already sitting by the fire, staring into the flames. Her eyes watching the light dance. Her eyes then flick back down to a random book that Bar had given her. She smiles a bit as she reads.

Scrubb plops down next to her. "Hullo, Pole."

He brushes his hand through his hair again and flicks some melted snow at her, grinning mischeviously. "How're you?"

Jill flinches at the melted snow but smiles, setting the book down next to her,

"Not bad, Scrubb, and you?"

She cocks her head to the side.

"How are you adjusting to the bar?"

"Well enough, I think." He shrugs. "As well as I ever did to Narnia."

"I know the feeling, Scrubb."

She looks to him and smiles.

"What have you been up to since your first step into Milliway's?"

"Oh, this and that. I've been helping Caspian in the stables." He smiles at her.

"How are you? I feel like we haven't talked in ages."

Jill shrugs,

"I've not really been out and about lately. Mostly staying in the House of Arch."

She sighs and looks to you,

"Would you like some tea, Scrubb?"

He raises his eyebrows and stands up. "Tea would be lovely. Back in two shakes."

He returns a few minutes later, balancing a tray with a tea service, and looks around for a place to put it down.

"Er. . ."

He ends up snagging a side table with his foot and dragging it closer, and putting the service on that. Grinning sheepishly, he flops back into his seat.

Jill smiles and laughs a bit, eyes glittering. She looks you over slightly and grins to herself.

"It's good to hear you've found a way to pass the time..."

"Well, for a while I was simply dreadfully lazy, but laziness gets dull after a while."

"Although even through laziness this place is always interesting. So, who have you talked to?"

"Oh, a few people. A blunt little girl by the name of Mary." He grins. "I like her."

Jill pauses for a moment, before nodding. There is quite a bit of hesitancy in her eyes as she nods slowly, willing you to continue.
