Shiori is awake, visible, and in the bar, looking for answers. She may also be writing a letter on napkins, and has been for quite a while, judging by the piles of discarded paper around her. Come try and give her advice.

Anthy's heading for the bar when she sees Shiori out of the corner of her eye, but she doesn't stop short; only once she's seated does she glance back.

No mistake. Shiori Takatsuki.

Shiori looks up from her letter, and looks around. Yes, she sees Anthy.

For a moment Anthy doesn't move; then she pastes a smile on, and rises to take a few steps toward Shiori.

"Shiori-san?"

Shiori looks up. "Yes?" She goes back to the letter, and does a double-take. "I know you, don't I." It's not a question.

"I'm Anthy Himemiya," she says, and pauses.

"I think we used to attend school together?"

Shiori smiles. "Yes, I do remember you. Do you know Tenjou-san? She was a friend of Juri's. Have you seen her recently? Juri, not Tenjou-san."

[anthy_rosebride]

"No, I . . . don't attend Ohtori Academy anymore," she says. "But yes, I do know Tenjou-san." Biblically.

She's watching Shiori more intently than a chance meeting of a former classmate ought to require.

Shiori pretends not to notice. "Oh, so you're like me? I'm going to school in Tokyo now." Please note the fact that Shiori is still wearing the Ohtori uniform. Someone really needs to tell her about that.

"How lovely." It's automatic.

She doesn't mention the uniform.

If Shiori remembers Ohtori, chances are she hasn't been back for the second time, Anthy thinks, and adds, "How long has it been? Since you left Ohtori."

Shiori winces. "It's been about a year. I haven't seen anyone from there until recently."

[anthy_rosebride]

"Ah, I'm sorry," says Anthy -- politely, if not kindly. "Recently? Do you mean here?"

Shiori nods. "Yes, first Tenjou-san, and now you. I met Tenjou-san as soon as I came in here."

[anthy_rosebride]

"Ah, I see."

A pause.

"You're not planning return to Ohtori?"

[loveinalocket]

"I'm not planning on going anywhere as yet. I'm stuck." She pauses and frowns. "There's an actual term for that here, isn't there?"

[anthy_rosebride]

"'Bound.' Yes."

She hesitates again, and says, "Is . . . there a reason you're wearing that uniform?"

Shiori looks down at her clothes. She then looks at Anthy in surprise. "I hadn't even realized I was wearing these. I wonder why?" She yawns and shrugs. "That's odd."
