There is a baby dinosaur wandering along the length of the Bar. She keeps sitting down to examine the altered view.

...What, it's a very long way for such a tiny thing!

[OOC: Still here, but I may slow down a bit with tagging - as I have Serious Plot happening elsewhere. *coughs* So obviously I sent in a baby dino too. *grins*]

Biff stares from the tiny dinosaur to his glass of wine and dumps it out.

"Clearly, I drink too much."

Ducky watches this seriously.

"The purple water makes you go to sleep," she tells him after a moment. "That is probably a good idea, yes."

[buddyofchrist]

"You don't say."

Biff pauses.

"What are you?"

[duck_bill]

"I am a big-mouth," she says.

Ducky eyes him assessingly. He looks like a human-pilot, but you can never be sure...

"What are you?"

[buddyofchrist]

"A disciple. I don't suppose you've read the Torah?"

[duck_bill]

"What is a disciple?" she asks curiously.

"And, and what is a Torah?"

Ducky thinks. "And I do not know what is 'read'?"

She's a dinosaur.

[buddyofchrist]

". . . nevermind."

Biff stares at the tiny little thing. He doesn't know about dinosaurs, but he has a vague idea that he's seen Ducky before while channelsurfing. Not like he stopped to watch or anything. Biff is way too old for cartoons.

"Do you have a name?" he asks. "I'm Biff."

"I am Ducky," she says politely.

"It is nice to meet you!"

"It is nice to meet you, too." Pause. "Would you like something to eat? Drink?"

[duck_bill]

She considers carefully, but shakes her head after a moments thought.

"No thank you. I have to go back home soon or my mother and father will be worried."

[buddyofchrist]

"Huh. Don't want that. Where do you live?"

[duck_bill]

"In the Great Valley. Out there!"

She points at the door.

[buddyofchrist]

"New York was out there when I came through it," Biff says conversationally. "I've never heard of the Great Valley."

[duck_bill]

She tilts her head consideringly.

"I do know know what New York is." Ducky thinks. "Maybe they are they same but called different things."

No, she has no idea what she's talking about.

[buddyofchrist]

"I don't think so. New York isn't Valleyish in the slightest."

[duck_bill]

"Oh," she says.

Then perks up again. "The Great Valley is... very green."
