Lilly comes into the bar from Bernard's flat, looking tired. She spots Indy at the bar and manages a smile as she wanders over.

"What up, sai?"

Funny thing about managing to smile: it never really works. Indy fails in his attempt to give her his usual grin as well. It's crooked and strained at best.

"Hiya Princess. What would you like?"

"Something with caffeine and alcohol, I think," Lilly replies. "So. Terrible fucking week for you too, huh?"

Indy starts making her one of his legendary Mocha Frappe's and has to raise his voice a little over the churning of the blender. "Yeah. You could say that."

Lilly nods, doesn't say anything till he's done with the blender.

"Show me your woe, I'll show you mine," she offers with a crooked half-smile.

He can't help but smile geuinely at that remark. It's fleeting, but it's there. He busies himself putting in the ice cream and whipped cream after he's poured and stirred the drink. "You heard about attack in the Wizarding World?"

Lilly nods, looks down.

"I just came from Bernard's, looking in on Sunny and Fleur for him. They're all... yeah. About what you'd expect."

"Do they have any news? Tim didn't give me any details. Just that they were missing." He hands over the finished drink, though the whole process lacked his usual flourish.

"Nothing good," Lilly replies, taking a long swallow of her drink. "Bernard... he got a package this morning. Tonks' ring, and a note saying she wouldn't need it anymore from some tāmāde húndàn of a Death Eater."

He smirks a little at her Chinese curse, but again, it lasts less only a few seconds as he makes a connection. "Shit! I guess that's why Bar's all gloomy and slow." He strokes the deep colored wood affectionately.

"Yeah, that'd be it," Lilly says, looking down at the bar. "Bernard and Bar are like that."

She lifts her head, smiles at Indy.

"I can't wait to see how fast the service is when Tonks and Bill are back. I bet it'll break records. There may even be spontaneous paper umbrellas."

"Yeah..." he mutters vacantly. If only he could be so assured about his other friends who are leaving or have already left. "Anything else? Pasty? Snack?"

Lilly eyes him.

"Yeah, we're so not done the woe-sharing yet. What else is going on, Indy?"

His head drops even further. "Do know... um... did you know Svava, the valkyrie?"

Lilly arches an eyebrow at that.

"No, I don't... or didn't know her. What happened?"

He drags a hand over his face. "She left to fight in her universe's armageddon last night. Prophecy says that no-one survives it."
