Guppy sits in a booth with the Times newspaper, doing the Su Doku at the back of the middle section. Until his pen suddenly refuses to work. He looks down at his hand and finds it covered in blue ink. And, on closer inspection, so is the sleeve of his white shirt. He attempts to mop up the mess with a handkerchief and looks around to see if he can spot another pen.
