The back door opens and Simon and River come in, accompanied by a gust of crisp cool almost-spring wind. River's eyes are bright, her hair blown back from her face; she's laughing. Simon's smiling at her.

It's been a good day so far, apparently.

There's a surprised-looking man standing at the bar, watching Wash try to balance a red rubber ball on his nose.

River glances that way.

And stops dead.

Her face lights up, surprise and joy blazing brighter in her face than anyone but Simon has probably ever seen. Her mouth opens, but she doesn't say anything; just grabs for Simon's hand and starts to pull him towards the bar, almost laughing aloud.

A laugh is startled out of Simon, and he perforce follows. "What, what is it?"

She doesn't answer. She's still beaming, urging him along, her eyes on a certain figure at the bar.

*Crowley, espying them come in from across the bar, wanders over, grin on his face*

Evening.

Simon brightens at the sight of him. "Nĭ hăo. I, ah, never got to thank you for helping us with the horse, that time..."

*he waves it off, shrugging slightly*

All I did was track him down, really. It's - it wasn't anything.

"And ... I don't think I got your name."
