Tony hears and sees the werewolf bound through the doors of the bar from his table. He stands up an looks around. He sees Jack.

Jack sees the werewolf entering the bar and jumps up, quickly spotting Tony not far away. Tony's almost behind the creature, so he Jack signals to him to go around the creature's back while he takes the front. The principles should be the same as taking down a large, angry suspect.

Theoretically, anyway.

Tony's on automatic. He rushes to a chair behind the werewolf and waits for the right moment, the leaps on the beast's back, waiting for Jack to take the front.

The werewolf growls and rises to his hindquarters, ripping at the 'thing' on its back. It whirls and Tony lands on the floor.

Jack's nearly ready to pounce from the front when suddenly Tony gets knocked off, and he's faced with a sevon-foot-tall...thing. Unprotected. No weapon.

Ohshit.

The werewolf growls and swats a huge paw at the man in front of him, sending him flying, bouncing off a table and hard into a wall.

Tony pushes himself up in time to see the werewolf attack Jack. His mouth gapes open in horror, before he rises to his feet to help Jack.

Jack has the momentary sensation of flying through the air, before he crashes against the wal, knocking him out. He falls to the floor in a heap. He doesn't look to bad--brusied, cut where the werewolf's claws swiped at him, but the real injury isn't seen, as fluid starts building up between his skull and his brain. At first there's no sign of it, until his foot begins to twitch slightly, his breath slowing, as the pressure slowly begins to increase.

Nita comes running.

"Jack. Jack!"

No response. She looks up at Tony, desperate. "Tony, do you have a pocketknife or something sharp?"

Tony searches in his pockets, although he knows, subconciously, that the search is fruitless. "Fuck," he says. "I don't. Shit."

"I need my own blood. Nothing sharp?"

She looks around frantically.

He looks around as well. "I'll be right back."

He dashes up to the bar and orders...a knife. Which he receives. He rushes back to Nita and hands her the knife. "Here." He glances nervously at Jack.

*Claire thrusts some power into the shape of a knife, sheathed, and tosses it to Nita*

Not my best work, but will this help?

"Thanks." She holds the knife over her hand, then slices quickly. The anticipation of cutting her palm is worse than the actual pain.

She glances over Jack, unsure where to start. There, claw wounds. She places her palm over the cuts and starts chanting.

No healing can be completed without the pain being fully experienced. The world goes away and her entire being is focused on the feel of claws ripping into her torso, the impact of her head against the wall, the building pressure of blood at the base of her neck.

When the world returns, Jack's cuts and bruises have disappeared, and the cut on Nita's palm is a barely visible line. She looks down at Jack nervously, hoping -- almost certain -- that the spell took care of the internal bleeding.

Tony kneels by Jack and places his hand on his shoulder, shaking him gently. "Jack? Jack, can you hear me?"
