*There is a very cute kitty dozing lightly on the bar. He never asked to be cute. It just happened.*

Kitty! Ember comes over and starts to pet him.

*The kitty turns over in his sleep, unconsciously trying to get closer to the petting. There is a very audible purr.*

Ember giggles, and continues to pet the kitty. She gives him scritches.

*The scritching wakes him up somewhat. He nudges the scritching hand, purring like an outboard motor. Bright green eyes slit open and focus on Ember.*

She gives him scritches behind the ears, because that's what Choplicker likes.

She grins at him. "Hi!"

*He leans hard into the scritching hand.*

She squees.

"You talk like the bunny!"

[mogget_cat]

*he looks...vaguely curious.*

I assume you are talking about Hazel. I have met the rabbit once or twice.

I talk, yes.

She giggles while still petting.

"Do you have a name?"

[mogget_cat]

*he talks over the purring.*

Most here call me Yrael.

"Yrael? I'm Ember!"

*he inclines his head.*

A pleasure, I am sure.

"How come you can talk?"

She goes from scritching the ears to making long pets down his back.

[mogget_cat]

Why do you think I can talk?

*The kitty's back arches in unconscious reaction to the strokes.*

She tilt her head, studying him.

"Are you a shapeshifter like Timmain?"

[mogget_cat]
