Cuthbert is in too many threads and his mun's homework is never going to get done tonight, waaah... sees Simon come downstairs, and instantly heads over.

Cuthbert's always amused by how folken who don't know that greeting answer it. Simon's close. Sort of.

"I've been wanting to check in with you--Eddie filled me in on what happened."

He figures it will be pretty obvious what he means by that.

A glance at the door. "It's the others back on Serenity I'm worried about, now."

"Not really, no. Wash was going to come let us know when it was safe to come back."

"I hope they'll be alright." Bert tells him sincerely. He's only met Wash, and that only once...but from what he knows of them, the crew of Serenity sound like good people.

"Well, while you're here, let me know if there's anything I can do for either of you."
