*River's asleep, and Simon's hungry. And starting to go a little stir-crazy.*

Ted's there, though he's on his way upstairs. When he sees Simon, though, he figures he ought to stop by, even if it's not for long.

"Hello." Ted gives Simon a smile. It's tired, and a bit worried, but genuine.

[simon_doctor]

"Hello, Ted."

He tilts his head in the direction of the stairs.

"She's sleeping. She's doing a lot better."

[mr_brautigan]

"Good. Very good." And some of the worry goes out of Ted's face. "How are you?"

[simon_doctor]

"Um ... okay. Mostly."

The tone of his voice says that he finds this mildly surprising.

"Worried."

[faithful_slayer]

There's a Slayer in the bar too. And she looks pretty damned upset over something. Looks like she needs a hug, actually...

[simon_doctor]

Simon approaches her with Great Caution.

"...Faith? Are you all right?"

[faithful_slayer]

Faith looks up sharply at the sound of his voice, blinking for a second. "...Simon. Hey. I'm fine." She smiles, kind of. "You?"

[simon_doctor]

"Ah, I'm ... doing all right."

He looks at her in some concern.

[key_youth_bert]

Cuthbert is in too many threads and his mun's homework is never going to get done tonight, waaah... sees Simon come downstairs, and instantly heads over.

"Sai Tam. Long days and pleasant nights."

[simon_doctor]

"...Mr. Allgood. Uh, and the same to you."

[key_youth_bert]

Cuthbert's always amused by how folken who don't know that greeting answer it. Simon's close. Sort of.

"I've been wanting to check in with you--Eddie filled me in on what happened."

He figures it will be pretty obvious what he means by that.

"...Yes. How much did he tell you?"
