Ace is one of the brave ones - sitting as close as she can to the fire without becoming Ace flambe, roasting a marshmallow over the roaring flames with contented glee. There's a bag of uncooked marshmallows beside her. She's also requisitioned a small mountain of gramcrackers and hersheys bars. After all, if one is going to roast marshamallows, one should prepare them properly.
*It's almost Ingress' bedtime. She's pretty sleepy, but marshmallows and a big fire... well, what five-year-old can resist that? Slipping away from Megwyn a moment, Ingress walks over to Ace.*
"'Lo!" Ace has already had a couple s'mores. The sugar is kicking in. "'M Ace, and I'm making s'mores. Want one?" The marshmallow she's working on is just about done, so she pulls it back, blowing on it a bit so it will be cool enough to touch.
"Well..." She grins. Ah, corrupting teaching youth the ways of campfires. Bliss. "First you toast up a marshmallow like this." She waves her nicely browned marshmallow at Ingress. "Then you take two of these biscuits..." she picks up two gramcrackers, "And a bit of Hershey's bar..." On goes the chocolate, "And then you smoosh them all together like so..." The marshmallow oozes pleasantly between the layers. Ace hands the finished dessert to Ingress. "There you go, love."
Ace grins almost as brightly as the bonfire. "Glad you like it. It's a specialty of mine." One gets rather talented at fire-based dessert recipies when one blows things up for fun. She also makes a killer flambe. She's been preparing another s'more while Ingress tries hers, and bites into her own bit of heaven. And yawns. "Seems I've been up too long, eh Ingress?" She grins at the girl. She pulls a pad of notepaper out of her jacket and writes: FREE TO A GOOD HOME - PLEASE ADOPT Very carefully she sets the note on top of her supply mountain, and grins at Ingress. "It's very nice meetin' you, love. Enjoy your treat now." And Ace slips away, not too far, since bonfires are cheerful things, but far enough so that she doesn't have to worry about rolling into the fire at some point. She curls up in a grassy depression not too far away and begins to drift off.
