Ellen meant to go back to her world last night, get on Shiphrah and Puah's back, and ride like hell after the people who raided the Republic of Dave. She has orders to track them down, get Dave away from them, and bring him back to his erstwhile Republic regardless of what's happened to him. She intends to obey those orders, too. One way or another.
But that's on her side of the door, and time is stopped there right now, and someone here's in a bad, bad way. Or was, when he arrived last night and when he finally went upstairs to rest. She stuck around last night and this morning she's not going anywhere until she's sure Voodoo's okay.
That's not to say she isn't preparing for her mission back home in the meantime. She's got to get used to the Chinese stealth suit again, after all- she's been wearing heavy armor instead for a while now. The reflexes change when you wear that much metal. So she's out back, in a very different suit from her usual, running through all her morning physical training and weapons drills- including, at one point, the use of a distinctly flaming sword.
She'll stop if she notices anybody looking, and she tends to pause between exercises, so feel free to interrupt her if you're interested.
