Meg, being Meg, did much of her Christmas shopping while on vacation in New York over the summer. Her fiance, on the other hand, finished his at about three o'clock this afternoon.
Meg slips into Milliways on Christmas Eve just long enough to leave three presents with Bar, earrings for Parker Lee, a framed poster for Laura, and bookends for Edward Cullen.
She receives (but does not yet open) a package in return, thanks Bar, and head back to Montreal.
She suspects she has a great deal of helping her fiance wrap all his presents waiting for her.
