It would probably surprise outsiders to know how much the members of Ravenclaw House argue among themselves.
Really, it's just a natural byproduct of housing so many intelligent, academia-minded adolescents in the same place. Virtually any topic is ripe for debate, dispute, deliberation, dissection and dogmatic pontification. But there are a handful of things that just about all Ravenclaws can agree on.
Luna Lovegood is a little weird. Gryffindors can do with a bit of a come-down. And Dolores Umbridge's Defense Against the Dark Arts class is going to be a waste of an entire year.
Luna strolls into Milliways on the first day of her Fourth Year classes with her nose buried in Defensive Magical Theory. Which she is holding upside down.
She thought there might be something worthwhile in the book if it was looked at in a different way, but so far it does not seem to be the case.
