Tumnus normally enjoys Autumn, the trees around his home turn glorious colors and Narnia is full of harvest celebrations. On this night though a nightmare woke him by combining old horrors of his father's arrest and his own captivity

He looks up from the fire at her voice, "High, but you have no wings."

[friend_of_lucy]

"I'm sorry but you're not making any sense. Do you think that you have had too much to drink or tried something stronger than you meant to?"

[friend_of_lucy]

"I don't know of that plant but I know the effects you mean. I am not created from your mind. My name is Tumnus and I am a Faun from Narnia,"

He knows Fauns seem to not appear in many worlds that have doors to Milliways but he does exist.

[friend_of_lucy]

Tumnus sighs and taps his hooves against the wooden floor,

"You do realize that you are in Milliways, Miss?"

[friend_of_lucy]

"Should I be insulted?"

From her tone, he's not sure if he should be or not and he'd rather not be.

[friend_of_lucy]

"What makes me shocking?"

He pats his hair as he did wake up and he knows he is not his neatest but he had a nightmare.

[friend_of_lucy]

"Yes, my fur is quite warm. I have found few worlds other than Narnia that do have Fauns which I find a shame,"

Though he has met species here that he never knew existed.

[friend_of_lucy]

Tumnus smiles, its a strange but nice compliment,

"Thank you. I have yet to meet any Fauns from other worlds though I have met the Lord Pan."
