He leans in the doorway and says, "So which name do you prefer?"

She pauses what she is doing. "Which name?" That's an interesting question. "You must be Apollo."

"Amascut, but you should be careful about using that name around mortals. They tend to forget it."

"So you leave it on a note when you don't know whether the person reading it can handle it?" He's not really trying to needle her; after all, he's done worse, in the past.
"That I am. You said you had questions about the hot dog menace?"

"The hot dog menace?" She chuckles at the name. "Well, I suppose I don't have a better name for it. What do you know about it?"

"Packaging turned up the other night," he says. "That was the first I head of it. There was a customer service hotline, so I wrangled a phone from the Lost and Found box into working for a few minutes. The guy on the other end said there's an alpha hot dog somewhere around here that'd best be stopped by the full moon, and it's vulnerable to silver skewers."
...Yeah, it sounds weird to him too.

"You don't want to know what a customer service hotline is. A phone is a way to communicate over long distances, but they generally don't work here - the one I used burned out not long after the 'stop this by the full moon' part." Literally burned out, too.
"Said full moon is Monday around here, it seems."

"So, like the werewolves here." Not like the werewolves at home. Nothing like the werewolves at home. "Then the rash and tufts of hair are due to people being being turned?"

"Exactly like the werewolves, but with hot dogs."
Apollo nods. "Turned into what, I have no idea, but the one victim I've talked to said he's hearing voices as part of this. Maybe that's the alpha?"
Totally a shot in the dark there, but... well, he doesn't know what else it would be.

"Voices... Well that would certainly explain why my chinchompas turned against me after eating that hotdog. And why I could taste something whenever those hotdogs bit me." Oh, yes, she has been bitten. Multiple times. "An alpha?"

Hey, he can handle working with a death goddess. His uncle's domain semi-overlaps, and Hades isn't too bad when he's not stroppy. (Unfortunately, he's stroppy a lot.)
"Poetry, music, the arts, healing, prophecy, archery, Romans threw the sun into the deal..." He shrugs. "Lots of things."
