Alex feels stupidly awkward about this, because as a (admittedly reluctant) spy, he ought to be better about this sort of thing. But, like it or not, he's sort of chosen Guppy as a responsible adult he can turn to, and now he's infected with... something. And that's disconcerting to say the least.

He pauses several feet away before calling out an uncertain, "Dr. Sandhu?"

Guppy stops and looks around. He'd not been avoiding Alex as such, just not wanting to alarm them.

"Hey Alex... don't worry about the skin, I won't hurt you."

Well, that... wasn't the kind of assurance he really wanted to hear, especially since he'd never been particularly worried about that in the first place. "Are you... okay?"

[guppy_sandhu]

Guppy hesitates, rubbing his knuckles.

"Not really." he says honestly. "I'm panicky, itchy, and I don't know when this will get fixed. But around here, weird things happen, and they always work out in a week or two."

He sighs. "But thanks for asking. How are you doing?"

"Someone said you were bitten?"

This is rather more important to him at the moment than answering that question.

"I don't really know what happened." Guppy says. "I had a cut on my hand, and the next day I got a weird rash. I ran some tests but it's not recognised."
