A supermarket?

Clementine's too stunned by the fact that she's looking right at Santa Claus.

Try not to be too annoyed by her staring as she sloooowly tilts her head and follows his progress across the bar.

"Afternoon." Father Christmas nods at her.

"Uh...Afternoon?" She leans a little closer and says, "I know you probably get this question from six-year-olds all the time, but since we're in a magical bar at the end of the universe...are you....HIM?" Santa is, to Clementine, rather a figure of fascination, more so than any religious deity.

"Depends who you mean by 'Him'" Father Christmas says.

"Call me Chris if it helps."

"You are," she says. This isn't quite as cool as meeting Wonder Woman, but it's close. "Santa Claus."

[father_chris]

"I prefer Father Christmas, but yes. Seriously, call me Chris." Father Christmas says.

"Chris," she weighs the name on her tongue. "...How far back do those naughty lists of yours go?" She needs to know.

[father_chris]

"Well, if you've learned your lesson, you get a chance each year." Father Christmas says. "But we keep records."

She frowns thoughtfully. "That's probably bad news for me."

[father_chris]

Father Christmas gets a book out of his pocket. It looks much too large to have fitted in there.

"What's your full name?"

Clementine hesitates for only a moment before the words come. "Clementine Johnson

[father_chris]

Father Christmas takes a peep in the book.

"Wouldn't be worried if I were you."

[hey35nholding]

She raises an eyebrow and sighs her relief. "Really?" She leans a little closer and peeks at the list. "Even after that whole naughty elf thing?"

[father_chris]

"Might be a timeline difference." Father Christmas says.

[hey35nholding]

"Oh," Clementine sighs in relief, her eyes darting about. "That's..." A total relief "really good news." She leans in. "So...buy you a cocoa?"

"That would be very nice, thank you." Father Christmas says, with a smile.
