Now that Jack actually knows what MIlliways is, he feels that maybe he can brave coming back and not... having his brain break from shock or something again. Happily, the Bar doesn't ask him to 'tend this time, which is good because Jack has Plans for this evening. Namely, he has a few books filched from the closest historical society that people would think he's really weird for reading, especially the one on local families. At the moment, he doesn't have any ghosts to take care of, but sooner or later they always seem to find out a mediator's come to town, and he'd rather know as much as he can first.
Also, here he can curl up on one of the couches in relative peace with his set of old books. Every once and a while, he absently raises his hand and rests it on what the supernaturally inclined might recognize as the ghost of a golden retriever. Otherwise, it just looks like he's petting the air. But hey, he figures that's probably the least of the bar's weirdness.
Both are botherable.
