A pale figure, not bothering with clothes.

It's not like there are other people out there to be bothered by nude moonbathing and nude swimming, there is?

The mermaid drifting about in the middle of the inlet humming to herself might not only be unbothered by nudity, she might even be delighted to see the vampire.

If she notices the silent presence.

Well, the vampire is very pale... not the right skin tone to go unnoticed in the darkness.

With the moon and stars above, she could stand out a bit... but then again, the sands are white, and the beach blanket's not dark.

Good question...

She might notice the mermaid's humming, though; some eerie melody somewhere between a sea shanty and whale song.

Oh, yes: this vampire has fantastic hearing, and the sound makes her look out to the water.

After a while, the mermaid looks around, and sees the vampire looking at her.

She waves, then swims towards her.

The vampire gets up and walks to the waterline, her skin almost glowing under the light of moon and stars. She goes in to the water to meet Tamara at a comfortable depth.

"Come, take a swim with me," Tamara says.

Pretty, pretty vampire!

The invite is accepted, without a need for words: the vampire is a toned beauty too, not afraid of cold, not needing to breathe, so she can and will swim with the mermaid.

Much more easily than a human could ever do it.

The mermaid takes her hand and pulls her out into the open water.

Amara lets the mermaid guide her, enjoying the caress of cool water on her bare skin.

Hm, if she ever learned to shape-shift like the Prince's guard dog... oh well.

"I've seen a dolphin here the other day!" Tamara tells her, cheerfully. "It's a wonderful place."

"I like the quiet." The vampire lazily treads water. "The cool water."

"Just need a few handsome guys who don't mind a bite or two."

[areyoumyjolly]

"Oh yes," the mermaid says, dreamily. "Dinner with benefits."

[hoopsonfire]

A wistful sigh. "The Big Wolf's always busy lately." She misses spoiling Urquhart.

"And I don't see anyone else looking."

[areyoumyjolly]

"Wolf?" Tamara says. "Wolves don't taste good!"

[hoopsonfire]

Amara shakes head. "The big blond, the Scot Wolf Man, with the airs of a predator." That one.

"He's big, strong, and tasty."
