Thirteen's looking a little worse for wear tonight, as she slumps into the bar tonight. It's an unexpected visit, and she finds herself blinking blearily in the sudden bright light and slowly making her way to her seat. The going is a little more unsteadily than she'd like, but booze would do that to you, and she arrives in an armchair in one piece

From a nearby chair, a pair of dark eyes peruses the injured woman.

Of course, said eyes are parter of a greater whole, namely, a pale girl in goth-like attire*.

*A bit like Sandman's Death, if you will.

Eventually, she realizes she's being watched, and cracks an eye open to regard the woman seated nearby.

"H'lo. Can I help you with something?"

"In help need, seems to be, not me." The pale girl tilts head. "You're hurt."

And she manages to say it in a real fascinated way.

The beginning of that is a little hard to follow, but the second bit comes in loud and clear.

"Yeah," she says. "Got into a bit of a scuffle."

[hoopsonfire]

The girl nods. "You need help." Not a question.

[numbered_doctor]

"I'll be alright," she says, leaning back into the chair. "M'just a little drunk an' beat up."

[hoopsonfire]

"The future wellness does not make the now better." The pale girl frowns. "You're hurting.'

[numbered_doctor]

"Yes. Had worse, though."

[hoopsonfire]

"Past worse and future better make the now improve?" The woman grins. "You're hurt. Let me help."
