She shakes her head, adjusting the skirts of her dress behind the bar, taking care not to bump anything or knock anything over as she moves.
"It's a little - bigger than I'm used to."

He leans over the bar, playfully trying to catch her.

"I'll be aiming to rid you of it," Urquhart says. "You can keep the jewels on."

She's still pressed back behind the Bar until the moment she shifts forward just enough to let him catch her in his fingertips.

"The Ruby," she decides out loud, leaning towards him again. "It's slightly sweet and very strong - and tastes like cherries."

One she drops into the drink. The other she saves for herself, holding the cherry by the stem as she sucks on the fruit, lips pursed around the small red globe.
"So do I."

"There's this boy who's been losing his cherries to Alfred and me," Urquhart says. "I don't know if he quite realised we're in collusion to corrupt him..."
