He is being watched. Or rather - his braiding technique is. As are the resulting braids.
Elrond is sporting braids today as well, studded with silver beads. His serve to pull the rest of his hair back from his face, leaving his ears visible.
The resulting braids, at least on Tsu'tey's head, are tiny and tight each one that falls to the side of his cheek ended in a series of bright red wooden beads, expertly fastened on so they won't come off until he intends them to.
It might be odd to spot what amounts to a fairly young teenage boy doing this, but then Tsu'tey is not your average teenager.
To an elf, it's not an unusual sight, but Elrond has realized that braids are considered almost exotic by a lot of the people that frequent Milliways. At least judging by their reactions to his.
He smiles at the creature and casually remarks, "You have skilled fingers." Favourable to a bit of small-talk, but not pushy in the least.
At least on this young one, the braids are the last thing that really needs to be catalogued to be assured he is exotic. He stands somewhere around seven feet tall--by dint of Milliways' resizing, were he outside he'd be ten feet--with a more or less prehensile tail and leonine face, and striated blue skin.
"Thank you," Tsu'tey smiles, looking up with large, amber eyes at the stranger. "I am so used to weaving that braids come very easily." At this age, the warrior is still learning to adapt to his new station, having his ikran and the responsibilities that come with the promotion, so to speak. He spends quite a lot of time with his loom, giving him time to think.
