Bill came downstairs with the intent of trying his luck outside at the lake. Since things didn't go so well with the bullfrog, he figures it'd be better to fish for fish.
Only, when he asks Bar for a fishing rod and tackle she doesn't provide him with any. It's the first time she hasn't given him what he's asked for, and so he's a bit puzzled.
Bill's about to ask if something's wrong when he notices the door across the room.
The door that's been gone for what feels like a long, long time now.
Blinking slowly, he can hardly believe it. And then suddenly for no real reason, he's scared of it.
Taking a seat at the counter on a stool, Bill stares at the door. Bar provides a bowl of gummi worms, but Bill hardly notices; eating them mechanically as thoughts swim through his head.
What if it's not really his door? What if it's locked? And, he can't leave without saying goodbye to William, but what if it disappears?
He doesn't know the answer to his questions, and is a bit afraid to find out.
