The door opens very firmly - one might even go so far as to say that it slams open. This is likely due to the fact that on the other side of the door is a black-clad young lady wielding a wand with a rather commanding gesture

Remy: Greet the Flighty Broad.

The door slams open, and Thirteen's attention is drawn away from the comic book in front of her. Sneakered feet are removed from the table top, and the woman straightens in her seat before replying to the absent words.

"I doubt anyone ever does expect this place. It's like the Spanish Inquision in that sense."

Rose turns to face the source of the voice, expecting... Well. Anything but another human, quite frankly.

"You are... Are you human?"

She. Has to know. This is impossible, and yet.

"Last time I checked,," she responds dryly. "Usually am, unless it's April Fool's or Cubefall."

The pauses, looking over the girl and her stunned expression.

"First time here?"

To her credit, Rose manages to regain most of her composure.

"Is it that obvious?" she asks.

[numbered_doctor]

"Yes," she says simply, kicking out the other chair from beneath the table and gesturing her towards it. "But don't worry, everyone who comes in for the first time generally has an air of befuddlement around them."

"At least it is not just me."

Rose considers it a moment before stepping closer, settling crosslegged in the chair.

"So what is this place?" she asks. Worry about how she is speaking with another human later.

[numbered_doctor]

"It's called Milliways," she explains, once Rose is seated, and Remy is leaning back in her chair again. "It's a hub of sorts, where all of the Multiverses intersect."

"Really."

Oh now that is interesting. Very interesting. And--

"Multiverses? So there are humans in other universes then?"

[numbered_doctor]

"Really," she confirms, arching a brow curiously at the question. "Why wouldn't there be?"

[seeswitheyes]

"I am not sure," Rose admits. "But I do not see any reason why there should be in the first place. Not that that bothers me," she adds.

[numbered_doctor]

Thirteen shrugs.

"Mind you, humans aren't the only species to frequent the bar, either, all sorts pass through here."

[seeswitheyes]

"Like what?"

Naturally, her first thought is of the trolls.

[numbered_doctor]

"Well, Gods for one, superheroes, vampires, I've even seen a squid...thing tending the Bar for a shift."

Sadly, she has not met any trolls. Sorry Rose.

"I guess the multiverse is even stranger than I thought. I am Rose," she offers after a moment.

[numbered_doctor]

"Remy," she says, offering a hand to the girl. "Or Thirteen. I answer to both."

Other such nicknames include Thirty-One and Lesbian, but the narration will disregard those for now.

"Nice to meet you, Rose."

[seeswitheyes]

"You as well," she replies.

That is about when a flash of light catches her eye, and she turns her head to see the Window.
