Enzo is stalking around the bar this evening with a truly digital camera in hand, eyeing people critically.

Clementine gives him a dry glance over the top of her beer bottle. "I'd flash you," she says, "but you're underage." Then she pushes up the tip of her nose and gives him a pig snort.

"I don't think I could put that in my report."

[hey35nholding]

"Oh yeah?" She sticks out her tongue. "You mean your elder ruler guys aren't interested in finding out what User boobie looks like?" She's not talking about flashing Enzo now, that's a good sign.

Enzo stammers out several sentence openings, less out of embarrassment (though there is that) than because he seriously has no idea how to reply to this.

He finally settles on: "If Turbo is interested in that, I don't want to know about it."

He sticks his tongue out back at her for good measure.

Clementine snickers. "Well, good for him." She blows a raspberry. "How's your project coming together, anyway?"

"All right. I got the writing done. I mean, it's just the first report. An overview."

[hey35nholding]

"So that's why you're taking pictures?" She fluffs out her hair and poses as if she were a model in Hot Rides Weekly.

Enzo zooms in as far as he can, snaps the picture, and turns the camera around to show Clem a lovely shot of... her hair. Not even her entire hairdo, just a section of hair.

"Colour samples."

Pft, smart-program. "Can it tell if I'm a natural blonde? Or does it just let you know if I'm a honey wheat or an amber grains?"

[a1enzo]

"It's not a scanner, just a camera. As long as it's colour some humans have naturally, I'm good."

"All right, then." And no, she's totally not revealing if she's a natural blonde. Some mysteries are best left mysterious.

[a1enzo]

"Thanks." And, with a smirk: "If I ever get 'em so used to humans that they want a User pin-up calendar, I'll let you know."

She chuckles. "I'll hold you to that." She's always wanted to do a pin-up calendar....make that a classy, legitimate pin-up calendar.

"I bet you will."

Between her and Jordan...

Hey, Clem's a good time gal! At least Enzo doesn't hold it against her. She sips her booze and laughs. "You'd better."

As long as no one gets hurt and he doesn't get teased too much, he doesn't see the problem. He doesn't always understand it, but whatever.
