Sam hasn't seen Wonder Woman in a while but he's been thinking of her since his door appeared.

Duty is always there but not its closer and he walks over with a nervous smile, "Hello."

"Sameth," Diana says, with genuine pleasure.

"You're looking well."

"I am? Good. How are you?"

He's not feeling bad or anything just there.

"Keeping busy, per usual. I have more energy the more work I do."

To a point, anyway.

"Its good that way. There's always something to be done. Can I join you?"

"Of course," Diana says, shifting things around on the tabletop to make room for him.

"If you're hungry, I'm sure the waitrats won't mind bringing out an extra plate."

"What are you having?"

He had some food earlier but he's always hungry.

"I'd thought a salad with chicken, for myself. If that's not to your taste -- "

She smiles faintly.

" -- you're welcome to order something else, as well."

"That sounds good but I think I'll have some steamed fish. Its been raining for the past few days here and cold."

"Spring in Scotland tends that way, if I remember right," Diana observes lightly.

"It does well for the plants, at least."

"It does, everything's green. What's the weather like where you are?"

[themysciradiana]

"Snowing."

She laughs quietly.

"I've been spending time in the mountains, of late."

"I always liked when it snowed when I was younger. It meant my birthday was soon."

[themysciradiana]

"And now that you're older you like it less well?"

[makesthings]

"Yes and no, this last birthday wasn't very good."

[themysciradiana]

"Ah," Diana says quietly.

"Perhaps the next one will be better."
