Another day, another column. Though this one is different for Knox. As a favor to his editor, he attended the World Cup semifinal in Metropolis, covering it as an event rather than a sport. Which was a good thing since Knox doesn't know a thing about soccer. But it was interesting, spending the first half seated with three Bulgarian-Americans and the second half with an Italian diplomat. He still doesn't understand (or care much for) soccer, but he gets the feelings these people feel for their teams and their countries. If only he can convey that in his column.
