"Things aren't blowing up anymore. How's that?" Rosalie says, sitting down. "But I don't need a free drink.

"How are you, Sameth? It's been a while."

She glances at the specials list.

"Is there a theme I'm missing, or are these drinks just especially good?"

She doesn't know much about cocktails. The names sort of seem to go together, though.

"Just things on my mind, they don't really go together."

"Really?" Rosalie reads them again.

"Sweet Fire is on your mind?" she asks, curiously. For example.

Also talking to Posner got him thinking about Kait so it sort of makes sense.

"Oh, that's right," Rosalie says, with a smile. "You told me about that. What are you working on?"

"A sword at the moment for a new patron in Milliways."

[jealous_rose]

"By hand?" Rosalie seems impressed. "I've heard that swords are quite difficult to make. Is that true?"

"They can be, but I learned when I was younger."

[jealous_rose]

"How young?"

He's pretty young now, isn't he?

"I think I was about twelve when Harath let me into the forge and was willing to teach me,"

Sam's only seventeen but he's also a gifted crafter.

[jealous_rose]

"Wow," Rosalie says. "When I was twelve... Well, I suppose I don't really remember when I was twelve." She laughs, a bit uncomfortably. "But I doubt I was working on cars or anything. I didn't start doing that until after I was changed."

"I just thought the forge was neat and my parents didn't mind,"

It didn't take away that much from his other duties, but it was strange.

Rosalie nods. Her eyes fall on the Specials Board again.

"So what about Liquid Gold?" she asks, with a smile. "Is that also related to the forge?"

"Yes and for Mardi Gras, I was painted gold,"

That was awkward but hard to forget.
