Nikola leans over the back of the couch to get a look at what he's reading, smirking in amusement.

"Didn't anyone ever tell you it's rude to hover over someone and block their light?" he says, amused, peering up at the vampire over the top edge of the book.

"It may have been mentioned once or twice..." He's just going to make his way around the couch and take up a spot at the other end, shifting Yrael's feet into his lap. Hope he doesn't mind.

"Taking up an interest in physics?"

Yrael doesn't mind at all. There may even be slight toe-wiggling.

"I figured the best method to learn would be simply throwing myself in, and fill in the gaps as I go. From what I've seen of it, science seem to be all about filling in gaps of ignorance - I felt it would be in keeping with the theme."

And he'd been thinking about that planet they'd discussed.

Pavel hasn't precisely been looking for that particular book, but finding someone else reading it at least tells him why it isn't in the library where he's assumed it was.

So the young man in a black undershirt and a pair of track pants looks curiously at the stretched-out not!cat, and taps the book lightly. "My apologies," a voice begins in heavily accented English, "But may I sit on ze couch as vell?"

The albino lowers the book slightly.

"But I am very comfortable as I am," he replies, guilelessly. The not'cat is very straight-forward with his priorities.

Pavel blinks once, and shakes his head. "My apologies. It vas only curiosity."

He's still wondering about that book, though. "You are a physicist?"

"I am nearly as far from being a physicist as one can be, actually," Yrael says, smiling slightly. "But I am seeking to learn. I merely prefer to throw myself into a subject, rather than wade along its edges."
