Butch Cassidy is not Irish, nor Catholic--in fact, true story, he's a Mormon whose parents were English and Scottish immigrants. He's also from a time before the days of green beer and excessive use of food coloring. But he does know an Irish girl who used to work at Fannie Porter's (until she married a rancher), name of Mary Grace, who could outdrink him, cuss like a sailor, sing the dirtiest of songs in the sweetest and most angelic of voices, and do a dance of the seven veils that was more like three veils and a chemise but by the time she was done a man could forget how to count (along with everything else he ever learned in school)--
Anyway, so there he is at the bar.
