Leela's had just enough time to dust herself off, apply the towel to her shoulder to make her status as barmaid tender official, and steel herself for duty. In the name of reducing her ridiculous tab.
"Squid ink?"
That can't taste good.
"Oh! How about blueberry? They have blueberries here, right?"
Does William's time have blue food coloring? Does William's time have food coloring in general? Maybe he learned about it through Milliways. "Just a minute," Sariel says, and turns to a shelf behind the bar.
Never let it be said, with all the tea-drinkers frequenting the place, that the tea selection in Milliways is small. "... This one claims to be blue raspberry," is the eventual answer as Sariel turns around again, a box in one hand and a representative teabag in the other. "I'm not certain if that means truly blue, though." Beat. "And blueberry is possible too." Which had utterly failed to occur to her until Leela mentioned it. Wrong part of the world. Then again, so is raspberry.
As for squid ink in tea? No thank you. And Tyson... "No, I'm sorry. I don't think so." Slight frown. He *does* look a little shaky.
Sariel obligingly turns and puts the blue raspberry back. Not that she isn't considering trying it herself later. Another moment or three (that tea selection isn't at all small!) of fishing around, and blueberry is found. Behold, a heating Millikettle.
Behold, an again-frowning pilot. "Are you sure you're alright, William?"
She crosses her arms over her chest and narrows her eye at him.
"Who's Tyson?"
She lets Sariel do all the grunt work, because ... because. Leela will handle the matter of tips. Given the size of her tab, and the space cadet she is currently talking to, she'll try to get as much out of him as she can.
"I'll, uh. Check on the lake for you. So long as you can afford the diving fee."
No, Leela dear, the space cadet's in another thread. Heh.
Sariel's not going to treat William as an easy mark, thanks. She is going to look concernedly at him, though. As for being made to do all the grunt work... uh. Leela's been busy serving customers? She gets the next patron to turn up, maybe. That lack of drawl and unusual word choice of William's are puzzling enough for the moment, not to mention a little worrying. This is almost sounding--
"I'm sorry?" It's not the reference to a half brother she's referencing, it's the odd term. "I don't know that expression."
"We've only met once before this," is what Sariel says to Leela. It's William who's getting most of her attention just now. "If you're feeling ill, there is an infirmary here, did you know?"
That's not a hint; it's an honest question. Sure, there's a reason behind it.
"Are there any teas that are blue?"

She hasn't missed the flushed appearance or the lack of usual clothing.

Which is one reason she's so awesome and William feels confused, he's not sure why blue is good.

He wipes his face since he's feeling kind of hot and his brother's name is Mark not Tyson.

Maybe he could swim down and talk to whoever's there.

"My half-brother, he's pretty cool."

And neither does he. Or does he?

That wasn't what he meant to say and William rubs his head again.

"You know him?"
And, back to William.
"Why would I know your half-brother?"

And also a son of Poseidon so it makes sense.
