Natalie flew a plane today.
Granted, a plane without internal environmental control, or long range navigation equipment, or weapons of any kind, but it did fly.
The engineers are crawling all over it right now, installing some of the missing systems, tweaking the rest to get higher levels of performance. (One of them tried to explain it to her; she ended up smiling and nodding a lot.)
Natalie hit the showers afterward and grabbed some clean clothes. She'd been considering a run back to the hanger, but when the bar shows up instead, she decides she's alright with that.
