Don pokes his head through the door, into the bar. Hm.

Well, why not. He already did the work he deemed necessary for tonight, and it might be good to get some socializing in tonight, before he meditates. Sometimes, a change is as good as a rest.

He settles himself at a table, with some herbal tea. His bō, of course, is close at hand.

X does not make a move to take Donatello's weapon as she approaches his table.

Though when she gets close enough --

"Hello."

He looks up. "Hi there."

Something he can help with, or just being friendly? Does she look a little familiar? Maybe.

"You are Leo's brother? And Raph's."

Beat.

"And Mike's."

It's not much of a series of questions.

[mnt_donnie]

"I am, yes. Aren't-" Oh! He remembers her now. "You're X. I'm sorry, it's been some time since I've been here."

She was polite, but not exactly chatty.

"Would you like to sit down?" Hm, this conversation is more than a little familiar, now. Maybe she just likes to lurk. He can't exactly point fingers about that.

"Okay," X says.

"If you are not working. Or meditating."

Leo seems to stare at beverages a lot! For instance.

Leo does. But that might have more to do with despair than meditation.

"I'm between both, at the moment." He pushes out a chair for her. "And yourself?"

"I will be working," X says. "Later."

Beat.

"I am between shifts now."

[mnt_donnie]

"You're on Security, right?" Leo or Mike might have mentioned that. "That must be an interesting job. Especially here."

She must be good at it, too.

[cutting_edgex23]

"Yes," X says.

"I like being busy."

Beat.

"And it is good to be useful, too."

[mnt_donnie]

"I think so," he says. "Thanks, too. It's important. And you help keep the place safe, which helps Mikey."

That gets her points.

"It is very important," X agrees.

"Now that he has a baby."

Globe.

Whichever.

[mnt_donnie]

It's easier to just go with 'offspring', Don finds. Being that Magellan isn't a baby per se. Or even biological, so far as he can tell.

"I haven't seen him for a while," Don says. "I should find him while I'm here, see how they're doing."

"You can ask Mel, too."

If X sounds a little uncertain here, that's because she is.

"If you find her first."

[mnt_donnie]

"Has she been around more often?" It makes sense X might have seen her, being as they're both active Security members.

"I haven't seen her for even longer."

[cutting_edgex23]

"I -- "

X hesitates.

"I am bad with dates. And times."

Which is to say --

She can't be sure?

[mnt_donnie]

"They can be very confusing here," Don says. "Especially when more than one viewpoint is involved. Never mind the question. Would you like some tea?"

He'd just need to get another cup!
