Take one nearly-ten yearold gadget hero-in-training. Give him a shoebox of old electronic junk and busted tape-players, and a big old smoothie made with Jolt cola.
Half an hour and a gauntlet-mounted tool-kit later, you'll find a few little BEAM robots skittering or rolling around in the empty lid of the shoebox. Building stuff like this is really relaxing, once you get into it.
