It's one thing to work with a man, and another thing entirely to have him save your arse. But even that can't bring Sam down tonight.
Why?
Almost getting shot and a dust-up with the Crime Squad'll put a spring in any man's step -- well, jitters in any man's step, anyway. The lacerations near his eye aren't even that bad, comparatively.
And while Sam was expecting to head down to the pub after all (or most) of the paperwork was filed and stamped away as a thorough job all done --
Milliways was most definitely not the pub he was expecting. But maybe a pre-drink drink won't go too much amiss.
