And so far, the odds of Dean leaving Milliways quietly are not looking promising.
Castiel steps to the side and around, so that he is facing Dean more or less head on. And, before the man can heap any further profanities on his head, reaches out and rests two fingers on Dean's forehead.
Castiel breaks his fall enough to prevent Dean from doing any damage to himself, and hoists him up and over his shoulder.
(It would seem that they have passed this way before.)
Ignoring any looks or comments from patrons or waitrats, Castiel carries his charge across to the door. He pauses long enough to send up one quick but earnest prayer before he opens it and steps through.
But at the same time he really doesn't want to knock himself out again. Not until he has to, anyway.
Which means right now he's staring at the stock of booze behind the bar while simultaneously fiddling with the label on his beer bottle.
It'll take a couple more minutes for him to start feeling pathetic.

The less outside interference, the better.
Castiel steps out of the shadows of the back booths and walks toward the bar.

At least until whoever it is gets too close. Then his entire body tenses, and he wasn't really relaxed to begin with.
Go figure.

And this man is owed more than that.
Castiel stops behind him.
"Dean Winchester."

Oh, like that ain't ominous.
"Who's asking?"
He's gonna turn around in a second. He is.
Except --
Except he really doesn't want to, and he can't fucking figure out why.
Shit.

Of course, Castiel has the advantage over Dean here. But there will be time for introductions later. Once they are both back where they belong.
He trusts that Dean will understand this later. He also hopes that he will not fight leaving Milliways as hard as he fought leaving Hell.
"It is time to go."

If he just turns his head, surely his body will follow.
Right?
"Look, I don't know who the fuck you think you are, but -- "

It's probably better that way.
Well, maybe not for the floor, but it's survived worse.
Than beer, that is.

Into a world which they both must work to save.
