It’s a Friday night in autumn in a small town in Texas. Which means one thing.
Football.
It’s half-time, the Coiner Cougars are in the lead, and Parker was in search of the concessions area when Milliways had decided to pop up on her instead. She comes in carrying a Cougars pennant, and her hair tied back with ribbons in Coiner High School blue and white.
Fortunately, Milliways comes equipped with Coke and hot dogs, too. The one that it gives Parker is topped with something orange-ish that smells and tastes strongly of curry, but it’s surprisingly not too bad.
