He'll be able to hear Medusa long before she arrives at his side - feathers, snakes, bangles on wrists and ankles.

His smile is like hers tend to be, which makes her head tilt a bit more. Still, she smiles back, quick as a ripple on the sea.

"Your thoughts are lost?" She asks, reaching out to tangle her fingers with his - but slowly, a little hesitantly, giving him room to step away if he doesn't want the contact.

Sam curls his fingers with hers, contact tight and hot, though he doesn't move closer.
