There is a very grim looking Celt at a table today. He's got a horn of ale and he's been nursing it for a bit now.  Next to his elbow his staff was propped against the table, and his gold inlayed harp was placed on the table. His blue cloak was hung on the back of his chair.

.... He was thinking about the events of his day. He's botherable.

Bill comes in and sits down at a table close by.

He pulls off his cap and runs a hand through his hair. Time off is sounding better and better everyday as things get more hectic down at the station.

Looking over, he spots Tegid and gives a nod.

Tegid nodded back over the rim of the horn.

"S'been awhile," Bill comments, waving over a wait rat to place an order.

"How y'been?"

"We had a fire," said Tegid, "And we had some deaths. One of the men responsible was caught."

He took a tug at his ale.

"And you?"

Bill frowns.

"M'sorry t'hear that."

Ordering a Coke, he shakes his head.

"I'm alright, thing's have been busy since I got back t'work."

"What has been happening, brother?" asked Tegid truly fine with letting Bill talk.

"Just my job," Bill replies, giving a shrug.

"S'how it is, sometimes. An' I got my girl stayin' in my world, so been pretty occupied, I guess."

"What, my job?"

Tegid shook his head.

"No, taking someone from here to your world," he explained.

"Oh."

He gives a partial shrug.

"Not really, I guess. Her world's the same as mine, kinda. It gets a little tricky, but it ain't dangerous. No more so than where she's from, anyways."

Bill thinks about that day in L.A. for Kate and holds in a frown.

"She's been there for a long time now, an' it's been workin' out fine."

"No, brother," said Tegid, "Is it dangerous for your world?"

Bill shakes his head, not understanding.

"Why would it be?"

Bill looks at Tegid and presses, worry suddenly niggling at him, even though he knows things have been good so far.

"People visit other worlds from here all the time. Have you heard somethin' goin' wrong? We haven't had any problems beyond explainin' things without really bein' able t'tell the whole truth, y'know?"

"Things haven't gone well in my world because of people from another," said Tegid with a sigh, "It is hard to explain. Have I told you about the troubles in my world?"
